I'm trying to open a saved file that I've been working on and I keep getting an "object not found" error. Has anyone else seen this? Is there any way to cure this or am I screwed?

usually when it says that, you get an explorer wind w to find it in, also make sure the extension is maked "all formats"

No, this is different from when it can't find a texture or something. I get a message saying "An unexpected error has occured (Object not found)" and then it stops loading the file. Also, what do you mean by "the extension is marked 'all formats'"?

I installed the 4.1 update and it loaded almost fine. Better than starting all over

I have Bryce 4 and I have seen exactly what you are talking about. I could not figure out a way to get the model I lost back, luckily it was not ver far along. The only thing I have thought of to correct this is to make a seperate file that I save my work to as a backup.

I also get this error message as well. I did solve it (or at least I thought I did) a while back but its been happening again lately. I haven't figured it out yet though.
