There are some diffrences. for example Matt and Maddie have considerably shorter necks than M3 and V3 so the texture is compressed. If i recall correctly there are various such small distortions that may make second skin clothing look diffrent...perhaps even wrong....things you may not notice if your just using skins. Let me see if i can come up with an example

According to Daz3d, since 2002 their figures use "unimesh". http://www.daz3d.com/support/faq/index.php?id=116 If I understand it correctly, one of the benefits is that various figures can share one texture. Does Unimesh really mean a V3/M3 texture will work on other figures? For instance, let's say a M3 Tshirt texture has "Renderosity Rocks". Would it look OK on Matt? In my case, I'm interested in using textures created using Clothim and Clother on Luke, Laura, Matt and Maddie. Cheers
