Pascale, each of us has to choose what we want to show or not show. If the impression of the thread has changed, then some might not want to post or have nothing meaningful to them to share. Some images and stories are quite private, too. To each his and her own. I respect Carlos and his wonderful images. That is his choice and that is just fine. I know that did not answer your question. Still, go for it girl! Iff'n you want too. Tom

The thread on favorite images was a great success and showed some of the best of the best. Check it out a few pages back if you did not post! We have all taken stuff that is not gallery quality but has a story or peculiar interest. Got one to share? This thread is different and may fall flat. ; } Show one of your images not so favorite or otherwise. Fair enough?
MY IMAGE: This is a view from the lodge room atop the Shenandoah Mountains in Virginia, USA. My old Minolta DiImage f100 was new then. We had left a family reunion in and driven a drive from hell over several mountain ridges. Roads were twisty the last 100 miles and some with 10% grades. We prayed to get there before dark. We didnt. Dark first then the rainstorm started. We went up the mountain, missed the turn toward the lodge and saw the sign saying Thanks for visiting Shenandoah. Yikes!
Back up the mountain, found the turn and went expecting the lodge any minute. Then the sign: 17 miles. Dark, raining like crazy, worn out from the twisty road behind us, all I could think of was the movie Deliverance and just kept my fingers crossed. We saw two foxes on the side of the road who did not expect to see us. That was relief for a moment. Then deliverance came to mind again. Oh my.
We did get there. This pic is from the room. The story about it: All that below is CHICKEN FARMS! Seems chickens are prime income in this area. Relaxed, not a sound from below made it to our place. This was lovely and totally good for the soul. Anyway, I did format the card in the new camera and erased all the family reunion picsdidnt know better and learning digital.
Go there sometime if you can. There are lots of trails and wonderful places to get with all around you and no noise at all. Loved it..once we got there. Take the interstate.
Share if you will or let this thread fall flat. I take that chance. : ) We will see. TomDart.
