This is an image i've done to test the bronze shader i'm working on . The model is from Bill Flemming, and please don't ask me how it stands ;) . The shader is composed by a classic bronze material and a green bronze one, mixed by a marble function . Is that what you had in mind, Brenthomer ? It is still a little too clean, i'll fix that . Please comment . Searching through the web last night, i've found this site : http://www.artlex.com/ I thought i would share because it looks like a goldmine for us shaders makers . It has lots of art in hi-res, and the sculptures pics show the materials very well . litst litst.@freesbee.fr

Well that would do..what I was thinking of was the bronze on outside church buildings. OK its not bronze, its copper :) lol Do you know what I am talking about? It turns bright green from tarnishing. Actually I really like how those metals combined tho, cant wait until they are done :)

Uh, does he come alive on Tuesday nights when the moon is full?...

Thanks guys ! to Brenthomer : All metals can have a lot of different aspects, depending of the alloy, cast, oxidization, polishing, dirt, scratches ... If you got a picture that shows the metal you were thinking about, send it to me ! But it's not necessary because i'll refine my green tonight, colours need some more work . I'll do a search on the site i've mentionned and will look for copper sculptures . By the way, bronze turns to green too, maybe it's because there is copper in it ? litst litst.@freesbee.fr

Thanks for your comments, guys . Here is an update of the shader . I am finally happy with it . The troll is a model from Bill Flemming, sorry i've lost the URL . I think it was on the Creatures Workshop site . litst litst.@freesbee.fr

This model was "Poserized" by Serpent, with Bill Flemming's permission, and should be at the Props Guild. Emperor Ken mad a texture for it, and someone uploaded some morphs to the news group a long time ago.

I forgot to say that your shader is beautiful. The render does look just like a photo of a real bronze. That would be great to try to make a Remington bronze.

It's a cool character. It was very generous of Mr Flemming to let us have him for Poser.
