Subject: HELP!!!! with magnets and tongue morphs

kawecki ( ) posted Sun, 12 June 2005 at 2:44 PM · edited Fri, 31 January 2025 at 1:00 AM

I've tried to do some tongue morphs with magnets without success. The tongue is inside the head and I don't want that the magnet affect the head, only the tongue. I have tried to sepparate the tongue from the head with the grouping tool, spawned as props and morphed the tongue. It was all ok until I exported as morph target the tongue and the rest of the head and applied as a head morph and the result was a mess. This is because the vertices order is different in the exported object compared to the original head, now I have a head with a morphed tongue with different vertices order! How people do tongue morphs?????????

You have to create a group from the tongue material and apply the magnet to that group only.

You can set the groups to affect in the Zone properties.

I have created a tongue group, but how can I apply the magnet to the tongue group without spawning the groups into props? Note I am using Poser4

In the Zone properties, check the Groups box and select just the group you made from the tongue material.

See Chapter 5 Body Shaping, on p146 Magnet Zone Properties section.
(I'd post a screenshot but I'm working on something in P6 so I can't open PP).
