Me too. Just waiting for the DL links. I also got in on the Shuttle deal. :-D

Carcinogen ( ) posted Mon, 13 June 2005 at 5:49 PM

People are crazy to pass this offer up. I have enjoyed my deals so much. The ferris wheel comes with a full cycle animation pose and the carousel horses look like a photo when rendered. And the cartoon characters are hilarious. Especially the Christmas ones. These deals are unreal. Thanks again Pamola and Poserworks!

Thank you Carcinogen. And thank you all who ordered or plan to. It is our pleasure to be able to offer a deal like this to our members. We appreciate all members who have supported our products in the past, and appreicate your continued support. With the sale price of the Magellan at Content Paradise, we hope others will find that our models at least meet (if not EXCEED) their expectations. You all are THE BEST! THANKS AGAIN! Cheers! Pam NEWS FLASH: Just saw on the news that Michael Jackson was acquitted. I must tune in. It's just SO DIFFICULT to believe that MJ is broke. How can a person spend that much money in one lifetime? I wouldn't begin to have a clue where to spend it! I'm a lower maintenance kind of gal anyway, but HOLY Mike! ;)

Ratteler ( ) posted Mon, 13 June 2005 at 8:07 PM

The Magellen is FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!! It's like about 6 sets that would go for $45 each all in one. AND I basically got it for $5!!!! Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttt!

Nope. Until midnight tonight, Chuck. pg

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 8:21 PM

Well, I shopped for 3 items, it totaled $145, went through the process (waiting to see somewhere the special price of $15) but when I continued the checkout process, the "special" was never mentioned and, as far as I know, the credit card was charged the full price. I don't know because I never got an email detailing the purchase...only download links. I'm not going to download till I get a verification the total cost was $15 (as I can't afford $145!). Please respond.

Walt Sterdan ( ) posted Wed, 15 June 2005 at 11:20 PM

You weren't supposed to go through the website. :-( Here's a copy of Pam's note: **************************************** 1. PAY ONLY $15- u.s. FOR ANY 3 MODELS ON THE POSERWORKS SITE. 2. ORDERS MUST BE PAID VIA PAYPAL! IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT but would like to take advantage of this sale, please e-mail pam@poserworks.com with NO PAYPAL ACCOUNT in the subject line, and list the models you would like to order in the body of your message. I will get back to you regarding alternate payment arrangements, however, these orders will be filled after all PayPal orders have been processed. 3. Once you have selected your 3 models from our site, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THE WEBSITE! Just log into your PayPal account, and send your payment of $15- u.s. to pam@poserworks.com. Please be sure to type in PP3 $15- sale, and list the models you are ordering in the notes section of your PayPal order so we are able to fill your order. You will receive a link and download instructions via e-mail, once poserworks is in receipt of your payment verification from PayPal. We do ask that you please exercise patience while your order is being processed. We appreciate it. Contact Pam, she should be able to help you out (she's always fixing my mistakes). ;-)

Oh, GREAT!

Well, I didn't know about PayPal being a requirement. If it has anything to do with the thread (link included) I've listed, I tried to get some information then but there was no further reply to my inquiry. So, I didn't know.

And, there is nothing listed on the website about it that I could find. Nothing on the home page nor during checkout.

Thanks for your reply (email), Pam. I now know it's PayPal related. Which brings me to my next dilemma...I had PayPal once and went through the initial $2,000 limit they give you. After that, they wanted more info. So, between all the bad "press" about PayPal and them wanting more info from me, I decided to drop them way over a year ago. The only real problem that has caused me is the inability to donate money once in a while at sites like Geralday's.

So, if you check your site, Pam, you'll see I didn't download the 3 files. (that's the honesty in me) I don't want to open a PayPal account again so your offer to get the $15 via PayPal and then credit back the $130 afterwards doesn't make me very happy (as I don't care for PayPal much any more). Perhaps you can just verify I didn't download the files (I assume you have some way of knowing like DAZ or PoserPros does), revoke the download link(s), and process a credit to my credit card. And, I'll apologize for the trouble I've caused by trying to take advantage of a special offer without all the information I needed.

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Thu, 16 June 2005 at 7:12 AM

I have read Walt's message more closely now, and I see there is another solution listed in #2. It would be fine with me if we could settle this problem by crediting back $130 (of the $145) to my card and sending me download links again when you've made the fix, Pam. I certainly can't afford $145...it's way over my spending limit and if my wife finds out, I'm dead.

Walt Sterdan ( ) posted Thu, 16 June 2005 at 7:15 AM

It doesn't help, I know, but in the thread you linked to and the very first post in this thread she says to contact her first through email. Hopefully it'll all work out for you (as I said, Pam's always fixing my goofs); good luck! -- Walt Sterdan, Freelance

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Thu, 16 June 2005 at 7:29 AM

Thanks, Walt, for pointing out my mistake (smile). Yes, I read this message (thread) quickly and responded with an inquiry in this thread about how much time was left. My mistake. In the thread in the link, I responded in the link because I had seen so many others who responded in the link (and had gotten a reply). I did the same, expecting the same kind of reply in the thread others had received.

Walt Sterdan ( ) posted Thu, 16 June 2005 at 7:36 AM

If it's any consolation, I got the email before the threads were posted, read it, made my purchases through PayPal and STILL managed to screw things up in a big way... which is why I'm pretty sure Pam'll fix things. If she can straighten out my goofs, anything anybody else could do shouldn't be a problem. ;-) -- Walt Sterdan, Freelance

Poserworks made a great impression on me when I first bought something from them.

Since then, Pam and Poserworks have increased my already high opinion of them -- and of the way that they do business.

You can't go wrong buying from Poserworks.

Hey Chuck, I just heard from our web host provider who handles our merchant account transactions and found out that I contacted him early enough that he was able to had your order cancelled so was void the order before it ever processed. So you needn't worry about the charge(s) being reversed since they never made it that far. So that's good news. Please check yuo mailbox./.. I just sent you an e-mail regarding your order. Cheers!
