Thanks :) I snooped around Phil's site and managed to find some instructions in French and located the path to where Wardrobe Wizard is saved. I have the English instructions now. I thought there was a video instruction? I didn't know I had to send in my transaction ID, so I just did that now, so I can't get a good feel on how to use it right now, but man, it looks HARD!!!!!!!!!!!! :( Do you have to do one item at a time? How do you do a whole outfit? Do you have to do one piece of clothing, save it, then do it all again with another piece of clothing, and then dress the figure at the end?

There are some video tutorials in the Wardrobe Wizard folder for the more advanced stuff, like changing joint parameters. Most of the time you won't need to do that though. Just do what it says in the WW_Start.htm under Method. Yes, I think it is best to do one piece at a time and save it to the library if you are converting a whole outfit.
Didn't save them in between? How did you manage to do that if you can only convert one piece of clothing at a time. What did you do with the converted item after you converted it?

I just did my first conversion. I didn't understand at first. The instructions on the start up page are simple, but when you try to follow them, you are presented with other buttons that aren't mentioned. So many choices and I have a hard time making decisions! I did find that there is a link somewhere in the middle of the page. (I'd check and tell you what it says for sure, but it's on a different pc.) I think it was one word. When you click on that, it will bring up a help page and if you click on each button, it will explain what each button does. Anyway, from memory, this is what I did: 1. Load clothing item to convert 2. Load figure clothing was originally designed for. 3. Zero figure. There is a button in the python script for this. It is under utilitiesfiguresI think. When you click on it, figure will probably move his feet a little. 4. Conform clothing to zeroed figure 5. Select clothing item and click on the convert from button. Pick the first option (for most things). I think it says something about full body w/o head. Small window will open and file will process. I closed this window when it was done. It didn't say what to do with it. 6. Delete the original figure 7. Add new figure you want clothes to fit and zero figure. 8. Click on the convert to. I think it was the second. Clothes will change to fit new figure. Smooth if desired and save to library as new figure
Once you get the hang of the basics it's easy. It's the best software I've bought in a long time!!!! Finally clothes for Mr Freak! Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Also, when you're converting clothes from a specific figure you don't have to save anything, it's all saved automatically for you in the analyses folder within Wardrobe Wizard. There's even an exchange set up in the yahoo groups files where people have contributed their analyzed files since that's what takes more time in conversion so you may want to check and see if there's anything you're interested in. Then, when you want to convert it to a specific figure you just bring in that figure (zero it first), the original clothing from your library and hit convert to. That result is what you should save so you don't need to do it again. However, WW is so helpful that it will even convert to a morphed character so you can morph your figure and then hit convert to, instant fit! Also, you can convert to any number of figures without having to go through the analysis again since that's saved automatically the first time. So, for example, you can convert from one of Vicki's clothing items and then convert it to Vicki 3, Stephanie 3, the PreTeen, etc. and even morphed versions of them, instead of having to load up a whole slew of morphs to a clothing item, just convert it on the spot when you need it for a specific character and save library space. Can ya tell I just love it? LOL!
This is, by far, the best software I have purchased in ages. WW has grown a cult following over just the past few weeks. To those new to the product, don't sweat it. It is super simple to use once you get the hang of it. The first few runs can be a bit daunting, but then, once you have felt around it, and clicked on all of the buttons, thinks of one button in particular that is interesting to click, you will be very comfortable with it, and you will "waste" countless hours seeing how many articles of clothing you can convert.
Well, I think this is a great piece of software, and well worth the money. I cannot make any use of it at the moment though. Because I need this just for converting Jessie clothes to morphed Jessie clothes and I use DNA morphs which only work on the HiRes version of Jessie. I am waiting for an HiRes Jessie update :)

Ok, I finally sat down to learn this program, but can't even find the darn thing. Also, Phil's email said to enter WW_Start.htm in the web browser to view the instruction video, but that gives me a site cannot be found. He also said you can access the video from the help menu in Wardrobe Wizard, but how do you acces the Wardrobe Wizard? I can't even find it. LOL Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to find the program and view the video? I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to learning programs. Thanks.
