Wow is that a clean hallway, should be some wear and tear on the floor and walls....

Yeah definitely chuck some dirt around. Maybe make some light fittings for the ceiling too. Nice modeling and perspective too!!!

I never intended to make art.

Pretty nice hallway darkness! The lighting is good, and I like your laser blasts. How about a grate/grid type material for the floors? I think it might give a little more detail and visual interest to the scene. Adding a couple of greebles and blast marks(there seems to be a battle in progress)to the walls might add a little more life here as well. All in all, you have a great scene in the makings here. :-)

Soem side corridors would be good too. There is always someones quarters or an equipment locker nearby. Good place to take cover from incomming fire too.

Aye, the floors and walls need some texturing work, for certain. Also, look at the blaster on the floor. It's tip is actually beneath the floor's surface. Select it, click "Object Space", and rotate it into place to make it right... And ever-important are light sources. There are no visible light sources here, although the shadows are very nice and smooth! Perhaps tube lights, or some sphere lights?

Maybe some windows , to see the space outside :)

Select some side faces inset slightly (put the wrong one down last time), texture material face a different color, and you can go from there. Some random greebles wouldn't hurt..very clean design..keep it up.

Reminds me of the core of the Nostromo in Alien. I think that the main thing here has already been said: probably would look better with more detail on the walls/floor. My only original suggestion would be to make the camera angle more dramatic. Think of it like this: if you saw this scene on the back of a movie cover, would you buy the movie? To this end I would suggest making the camera angle more dramatic, maybe leaving it close to the floor but moving it over towards one wall or the other. Then you could have one of the guards firing towards the camera, with the laser blast just barely missing the viewer. Also, you could put some pipes along the wall. Then you could use a volumetric cloud texture--possibly with metaballs--to create steam coming out of one of the pipes where it was hit by laser fire. Just my $.02--looks quite good already!

Cool work Darkness.... I agree with the others about the floor and walls being dirtied up a bit. I think Danamo had a great idea in using a grate/grid type material for the floors. Keep workin on it buddy.... It's looking good so far.
