since I can't get Poser 6 to work anymore....it happened after I updated my Nvidia drivers, could that be it?

Maybe the updated driver messed with the OpenGL? Did you try reinstalling Poser? Just reinstall on top of the current install so you dont lose anything.

I did indeed...no better

What exactly happens when you try to start Poser. Write it step by step what happens. Maybe we can figure it out from there.

Oh and if it's really your birthday.... then Happy Birthday! =)

If the updated drivers are causing the problem, go back to the old drivers and see if that works. Sounds strange, but I'm a firm believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" when it comes to computer upgrades and such. Kate (the semi-luddite)

Just a thought here - but I remember back in the days when I used Nvidia cards, I had a similar issue. When updating Nvidia drivers make sure you remove the old ones first!!! Seems they don't always overwrite the old files so you have a combination of old and new drivers which confuses the issue

That is the annoying thing about Nvidia cards - having to remove the old drivers, I once had Windows crawling for a week until I discovered this trick - Glad it worked for you....
