If anyone's interested, I've uploaded an outfit for the DAZ Gremlin to my Renderosity homepage. The shoes are smart props, the rest conforming. The jacket is actually the same one I released for my Darcassian figure recently, reworked to fit the Gremlin just for the hell of it. It uses P5 mats, so P4 users will have to work out their own texturing.:/ Enjoy!:)

PilotHigh, scroll down X2000's homepage until you reach the Downloads section, you'll find a text link there. X2000, thanks for sharing!

Yep, it's easy to miss, but it's there.;) Btw, I think I forgot to mention it in the readme, but I had a problem with an unacceptable amount of indentation in the sides of his chest when his arms are at his sides, so that's what the "fix" morphs on his chest are fixing. No promises, I have a lot of unfinished projects sitting around, but I do have a version of this for Zot in progress...;)

Here are the figures I have (besides my own creations) that are candidates for new clothing: Sixus1's Greater Troll, Grey Alien 1, & Orc Dark Whisper/3D Universe's Zot, Sal A Manda, & Pixie RDNA's Sluggian Phil C's Trogs Valander's Kithdraken Fatale's Demonoid I pretty much do whatever takes my fancy on a given day, and Darc is my priority, but if anyone has any favorites out of those, I'll keep that in mind when I'm thinking up new projects.;)

Oh my vote is Fatales's Demonoid and Sala Manda and Pixie first???? Pleassse. Thanks, Marque

kaveman ( ) posted Thu, 16 June 2005 at 8:02 PM

Could you give us some links to these figures?

kaveman - sixus1's stuff is right here in the Marketplace (though you can get them cheaper buying them direct from sixus1's site: http://www.poserforums.com The Dark Whisper/3D Universe figures can be found at http://www.daz3d.com http://www.runtimedna.com is home of the Sluggian Valander's Kithdraken is also in the Marketplace here The Demonoid is here in Free Stuff http://www.philc.net is Phil's site, though I actually got the Trogs from one of the Renderosity magazine CD's way back when My Darcassian figure is here in the Marketplace (on sale until the end of June, too;) I also have some critters in Free Stuff vilian - I have HouseMouse, though I'd actually forgotten about him. So don't give up hope, I'm a sucker for the underdog figures.;) On the other hand, Mike and Vicki don't hold much interest for me.:/

Thanks! I can't wait to try it out!

x2000 ( ) posted Fri, 17 June 2005 at 10:31 AM

You're welcome.:) Btw, here's a tip for the shoes: they're smart props, they'll pop right on to the feet where they belong. But you'll do best to re-parent them yourself, selecting "Inherit bends of parent" when you do, because unfortunately Poser refuses save props that way. Then if you bend the Germlin's toes, the toe of the shoe will bend, rather than having the bottom of your shoes be flat all the time, which makes for better posing. The only thing is that Gremlin's toes will poke through the shoes, but you can just deselect "Visible" for each toe and take care of that little issue. Poser tip of the day: Clothes don't always have to be conforming to conform.;)

So there is still hope for Mousie ! :) I felt in love with him long time ago, finally got him during March Madness and just can't stop using since. Can't stop dreaming about some "normal" clothes (not "second skin" type) either. I do hope you'll find some time for the poor thing too :)

Thank you very much for the Gremlin clothes :)

Kenmac ( ) posted Fri, 17 June 2005 at 6:23 PM

Thanks for the clothes for the Gremlin. He's been one of my favourite models for a long time and I know he was getting tired of walking around naked. :o) I asked Phil C and Kamilche to add him to the list for their Wardrobe Wizard utility but I don't think he's a high priority for them as yet.

x2000 ( ) posted Fri, 17 June 2005 at 7:13 PM

Yep, there's way too many naked critters running around;) It may take me a while, but most of them will have some snazzy new duds before I'm through. Btw, I finally just got the sixus1 Grey Alien 2.5 upgrade, plus the Phibian. And I have the other Greys, too (queen, children, mantis), I just forgot to mention them. I do have some other figures, too, but they don't all easily lend themselves to clothing. For example, I know there's already bunny slippers out there for Cthulhu, so what else could he possibly need?;)

RealDeal ( ) posted Thu, 23 June 2005 at 5:04 AM

I thought Sixus1 was leaving renderosity?

Yep, apparently they have. But all these posts were before that.;) Besides they still have their own store site, which is where I always bought their stuff anyway. Lower prices, and "cut out the middle man" and all that.;)
