**NEWS BULLETIN**

Construction first began on The Argo in May of 2902, but interest and funding for this interplanetary survey vessel waned and the project was subsequently shelved.

Production plans and prototypes were transferred from Berger Aerospace Industries over to the Moebius Conglomerate in late 2904. The latter was then to sell off 32% of their interstellar division to DysTrans after funding incentives were offered by the PLemon Foundation backed by the Bowers Group.

It was announced earlier today at the Dystopian Shipyards of New Mesopotamia that production would continue on The Argo. "We are committed to delivering this commercial product to the public", stated Thanikka Naro, Chief Operating Officer of DysTrans. The bridge package will be released in a LightWave 3D Only version for a limited time only. No production schedule was issued at the time of this release.

Sorry... having way too much fun writing a bogus news article for this old/new product. :o)

Cheers! M

Due to the size of the mesh, only LightWave procedural textures will be included in the package. All video display screens will **not** be included in **The Argo Bridge** product. Cheers! M

Above is a more detailed view of the NavSurv Station of **The Argo Bridge**. Kinda hard to believe that this design is already three years old. Unless my good friend, [billy-home](http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=billy-home) can be persuaded-coerced-forced-intimidated-cajoled into creating a Poser version, this product will remain a LightWave 3D release only. There's just too much pain and suffering involved in converting this antique mesh to a Poser compatible OBJ. Cheers! M

Yes... you are seeing right. All the stations on this compact bridge are equipped with dual cupholders. :o) Rubberized neoprene insulation over a titanium tungsten alloy great for both hot and cold beverages, perfect for the long hours on overwatch. Shown above is one of the two helm stations on **The Argo Bridge**. The helm control design of this bridge makes use of studies conducted on identical twins. The redundancy concept here maximizes whatever advantages natural born twins have in terms of empathy and psychic linkage. The results are improved response times, enhanced efficiency and redundancy checking routines for improved safety, and a greater overall feeling of self-protection and self-preservation is fed throughout the ship's systems. The same redundancy control system when tested with clones did not produce similar results. Cheers! M

Very impressive !!! Great work !

whoa whoa whoa...DUAL cupholders?!? That's insane! The standard cupholder circa 2890 is the monostatic Blendform design, intended for a single container with a 20.95 cm circumference.....and you're saying The Argo has DUAL!?! Do they include inertial inhibitors? Do they reference liquid temperature? Do they have a container volume readout? I can't wait to check out them cupholders!

Ah, the Argo! I remember when you posted your first WiPs. I can understand your concerns about trying to "translate" it, but I feel this would be a winner at DAZ if you can persuade Billy-Home to convert it. Of course, now that I have LW, I technically need not worry. That is, if I knew how to properly run the bloody software. ;-) Sincerely, Bill

Wow Moe! This looks sweet! Please persuade-coerce-force-intimidate-cajole Billy-Home into doing the conversion!

Man, I just spurted coffee all over my cupholder at work from laughing. The spiel is hilarious! Forget Poser - do this for Daz|Studio. A release candidate is imminent!

Wooohooo. I am sooo glad this is finally for sale. The Plemon foundation thanks your profusely. I can't wait to start texturing. I'm glad I am a lightwave user.
