I posted a color version of this image in my gallery today, but then I played with it a bit more and came up with this IR & Sepia version. I like both, but after this one, the original seems almost too dark. The otherworldlyness of this one has it's appeal too, but maybe it is too much? Thoughts anyone? Thanks --Kort

Prefer the colour kort.. it had a beautiful play of warmth in the light.As commented on the posting, beautiful soft blend of sepia and worked well.. now not to be taken personal this is just my opinion and how l work not for every one.. l only like sepia if the composition is timeless, unable to date, and the exception of portraits of people ... oh sigh now put my size 5's in a big whole.. at the end of the day its what you prefer.. hugssss nikki :)...))

Colour for me - doesnt look that dark to me either (but who knows when you dont have one of those fancy monitor colour calibration gizmos :P ). The sepia one actually looks too bright to me :o

Kort - the one in your gallery just "POPS" out at ya with all the vivid colors you captured! The toning on this one doesn't seem to suit it. I don't know why...this has kind of a creepy feel to it(IMO).

Errrrrrrrrrr Wait a minute ................. no I prefer the colour one :D

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.
