Some time ago I read in their forum that the owner has had healt problems. The site has not been updated for the past two months at least. Everytime I try to log in it timeout or it is too slow. Pity. The content was very good when they posted it...

The site owner actually disappeared - the forum admins, other staff, no-one knows where he went. I hope he's okay.

He's done that before though. Seems like every time he gets a new person on board to help supply content it's good for a few weeks then he goes away and no one can reach him. Was just curious to know if it had gotten better over there. Thanks, Marque

Well, apparently, this is different (at least according to the admin's post on the forums before the site went belly-up). Certainly, in 2 years, I've never known the site to be off0line for this length of time.

do a search for the Wayback Machine on Google, and plug in the URL of the site when prompted. You can get at the older versions that way..

oh, that's wierd, they must have changed the URL recently - it used to be just www.poserstyle.com. Still, I'm very wary about getting a subscription - I still don't what the situation is with the owner.

I had talked to Will, and he said it was coming back and he was working on an Announcement for all current and former Members. He was suppose to get back with me, but I have yet to hear from him. I suspect he is trying to mend some fences, or at least I hope that is the delay. The Domain Poserstyle3d is suppose to be temp, until he can get the Poserstyle.com moved to the new Server. That could also be the delay, though I know nothing for sure.

I tried any number of times to download stuff on an active membership and got nothing. Even a response to fix things didn't work.

That was my situation too, Huolong. I know I rubbed Will the wrong way with all of my complaints, but I was (and am) really angry that all of the credit for the downtimes that Will and then Sting promised would be added to my subscription never was. Poserstyle does have good items, but with the site going up and down as it did, the extreme lateness of releases, Will's constant disappearing acts, and the many other broken promises to members, it'll be a long time before I feel confident enough to give them my money again.

Same here, think he should just not take new subs and add all the old stuff to the store. When the old subs are up he won't have the pressure. Marque

His goal, in part is to take care of all current and past members first (including treating those that expired before meeting the subscription amount as current). I do not believe he plans on promoting the site. I believe his plans are that the members will based on what he does with the site and how he makes it up to all the current and former members.

His stuff is top notch. Why doesn't he sell through a reliable site, model by model?
