Subject: Wet hair?

Hi, I'm looking for a realistic wet looking hair, preferably dark hair. Is there something like that to be found somewhere? Thanks in advance! -pixel

Maybe the Slick Hair at DAZ?

Ernyoka has a shampoo pack with wet-looking hair, too.

If you have P5 or P6, dynamic hair can give you a great wet look. Just increase the gravity.

Thanks randym but neither of them look very realistic honestly. I guess I will fiddle some with Posers dynamic hair then. -pixel

You could also try kozaburo's all back style that might work. It's fantastic hair! :)

Yes I got that one, thanks! I'm looking for something however that is long hair and really looks like realistic wet hair. Maybe something like Kozakuros Long Hair Evolution just in wet! :)

I think Geralday made a wet hair as well. Perhaps that could be used?

i have been trying wet hair. but it doesnt look good enough. bagginsbill how would you do it?

Like so many other things, this is partly a shader issue and partly a shape issue.

Wet hair is clumpy, curly, and messy. Even if the shader is right, if the shape is wrong, you won't see it as wet hair.

I've never done any work on a wet hair shader, so I can't offer any insight.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
