Subject: Tiled filling

Greets, Okay, I know it's a stupid question, and I know I have done it before, but for the life of me.... I am using PS CS. I made a pattern, I saved it in the pattern files, I load the pattern into a different image, and use the paint bucket tool and... Oops... Hmmm, appears the original image scale and pixel was/is larger than the current image... Perhaps the clone stamp tool... wait nope, same results... So how do I scale the size of these things back, so I am getting a repeated pattern...Nope, not under that menu... where the heck... Any help on scaling the tools so that I actually get a repeated pattern would be great, thanks :) V

If you are using "edit > fill with pattern" it will fill with the original size of pattern. If you go to "add a layer style" in layers palette and select "pattern overlay" you can scale the pattern.
