The photos are mine... taken this winter in the Alps... to remember the 'cold days' ... because the summer is too hot here ...

The scene was rendered witn Vue 5 Infinite, but this is standard lighting (no HDRI or such). I have added some quadratic lights (one in each ice cube) and two additional point light to increase the reflection on the glass . The glass texture is a composite one : two very similar glass mats, orientation dependant to avoid a too important symmetry of reflection on the left and the right part of the glass... attempt to use bump to simulate a wet effect on the glas and the straw....

WOW i like this very much, Atmosphere is great..the ice cube effect is a good idea i tried the water drop effect too isnt easy but you handled it good. Tablecloth an Backround is also nice.

Simply perfect! ;) The drops are great, just like the idea of lights inside the cubes, indeed very well done! ;)

Impressive. Great idea of putting the lights in the ice cubes. The water droplets on the glass and straw are wonderful. I've never been able to achieive that look. Honestly, you should consider writing a tutorial on key elements of your studies. I think we could all learn a lot from you.

hi patrick, the glass and the ice-cubes is very nice ! you can try to simulate the light from fire with an additional light with some gels.... Luca.

Good picture. The light from the fire feels absent and may be abled to be improved. The rocks on the right that make up the fireplace wall feel distorted somehow.
