Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 31 9:45 am)
I've always thought that Zbrush is a great program. I've been waiting for a year for obj support and now it's here. My one complaint is what it's always been: Lack of a hardcopy manual! You'd think for the price, they could send out a CD-rom with a manual! I hate this trend that software companies think a virtual manual is all that's needed. After a software company recovers it's development costs, just what exactly are we paying for?...the download band width? -SMT
I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!
I agree - a hard copy manual would be the icing on the cake. I believe pixologic are working on a manual at this time. You should check out the website http://www.zacademy.com This site has some great tutorials and FAQ,s Also drool over some of the exquisite work being submitted there. Christian G. I recently purchased a program called ZBrush which is currently at revision 1.13. Half price @ $292.00 This program is awesome. Morphs - WOW!!!!! The program imports and exports OBJ. files and has been modified to enable better support for Poser. You should check this out - real time Morphs in full shading - back into poser apply the Morph in the ususal manner, twist the dial and Voila !!! No need for any other conversions - Brilliant !!! Demo available at http://www.pixologic.com The import function is the 3D primative star in the Tools palette.
