Sharen, don't hesitate. WW is ultra simple to learn. It does all of the work for you! Plus, if you ever have a question, you can go direct to the Yahoo Group set up specifically for the product. PhilC and Kamilche (the authors) are always on, as well as many members, to answer your questions. Wolf359 makes no exaggerations with those comments. This software is incredible!
Sharen, I thought it would be hard to learn, but it's really super easy to learn the basics. It's a bit more complicated when you are getting into the advanced mode, but Phil is working on tutorials and FAQ's and there are others who have more experience now using the program too, so you will always get the help and answers that you seek.
I love the fact that after converting something, I only have to keep the .dat file and then next time I want to fit the V# MFD to another figure, all I have to do is put it on the new figure and click "Conform to" and it does it like magic.
It really is worth so much more than what they are charging for it, because of the shear money savings that you will see being able convert clothing between a number of different figures.
Another thing I love about it is that I don't have to play with dials to try and fit clothes to a morph injected figure. Sometimes I'll put something on V3, and then inject her with a character addon only to have her butt and chest sticking out and then having to try and turn the right dials in order to get the body areas covered. Now what I do is analyze the outfit on plain V3, then inject V3 and then convert the outfit to fit her. Super simple and all the guess work is taken out.

I have to agree, WW is above and beyond Excellent, Easy to use and downright fantastic. im currently comverting V3 clothes over to the GIRL and Aiko3 and so far no probs. as well as Mike2 to Ichiro, and it only takes about 5 mins... YIPEEEEEE... Thankyou PhilC for the Most usefull tool in the Poser armoury.
Getting old and still making "art" without soiling myself, now that's success.
In my opinion wardobe wizard is the most important advance in poser clothing since conforming clothng<<< I was sort of surprised that a HUGE amount of noise wasn't made about WW when it first came out weeks ago. Maybe it was obscured by all the noise about Appollo Maximus. But, heck, when you get right down to it, AM's just another figure to spend money on. Wolf359 is right. WW is the single most important advance in Poserdom since...well, Poser itself! Owning WW will actually SAVE you money! Everybody who owns Poser should get it. In fact...WW really should be an integral part of Poser. -jjsemp
<<<< In fact...WW really should be an integral part of Poser.>>> heheheh, in actuality, it is. Called magnets and Python Scripting. Not knocking WW in the least, use the heck out of it. @Sharen, one thing I will point out, some clothes and figures do not want to play well together. It's going to be trial and error to see what works the best.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
Actually, a HUGE amount of noise WAS made when WW was released. Take a look at the number of posts in it's yahoo group thread.. in a week there are about 400-1000 posts! And that's not including Daz, Here, or RDNA either.. JUST thier support/info list.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
Well over here there wasn't too much noise made about it, neither at DAZ or RDNA. That made me sit on the fence and miss the into-sale (unfortunally). There were harldy any cumstomer reports at all, only a few and they weren't all in favour. Most of the post were on how do I stuff. I didn't go to the yahoo forums at all, since that's not my main source of info at all. Besides that, I wanted to say what people would say here about it. Seen it happen to often at DAZ's forums. DAZ releases something new, all people over at there forums praise DAZ for the product, while in fact it's a piece of junk that has been released. That's why I always wait before buying to see what others will be saying on non related forums. Now we see more and more positive reports coming, so I'm hoping there will be another sale at some point in time, so I can get it too. It sure seems like a great product!
Artwork and 3DToons items, create the perfect place for you toon and other figures!

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(
Food for thought.....

Don't hold your breath on a sale aeilkema. They used the intro pricing to "test the water." Now that they know their user base would have paid even triple the current price, I cannot see them dropping the cost again. As far as feedback, I don't recall any posting here (and yes, there were many,) giving bad reviews. The closest to a bad review I remember seeing was where someone was missing a step, got all hot and bothered about it, but when someone pointed out the mishap, and the person took the advice, there was a subsequent post praising the product. I understand what you mean about not wanting to just jump on something like this, however, there was a large number of us involved in the Beta for the product. PhilC's newsletter let his subscribers know about it, and be part of the testing. When the product was released to the public, it had already been tested by many actual users, most of which bought the product right away. There were some early issues with it, but PhilC and Kamilche were super quick to make the fixes and get them out to people. Trust me, if you are even remotely intrigued by the possibility of using clothes from any figure on any other figure, you will want to spend the cash on this thing. As soon as you realize how your wardrobe has grown like a Beverly Hills housewife's, you will see the cost is practically nothing!
It's not like the sale was short by any means! It had a month long intro sale, I think, and he also has a free demo version as well. People weren't posting here or at daz, because we were all mainly posting on the ww specific list. I just came back from a 4 or 5 day vacation, and am looking at over 400 new posts on it! There were numerous posts and RDNA, here and a VERY long thread at Daz, and almost all mentioned the list for information, and had links to Phil's website. Matter of fact, I was actually getting tired of "here's my latest conversion" images for a while there! Now that people are learning it better, conversions have improved as well, IMHO. I wouldn't recommend it for developer use, because conversions don't always retain commercial quality, but for end use use, I think it's outstanding, and should probably be one of the most popular poser utilities out there. Plus, just being able to make clothing accept morphs it does not include could be a huge worthwhile use.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
Actually, a HUGE amount of noise WAS made when WW was released.<<< Oddly enough, not here at Rendo. And, if the "surfers currently online" stat is to be believed, this place is still arguably the number one gathering spot of Poser users. Also, I don't count the Yahoo group because that was made up of people who had already bought the product, not potential buyers. Also, navigating those Yahoo threads is a real pain in the a**. -jjsemp
Not to futs, but I'll go with "the sale was short" 0r nor promo'd enough before sale was over. I am on PhilC's list & never got a newsletter. I just happened to check his site for new stuff (last day of sale)& had no time to research. Many of us have been BURNT Big $$$ for utilities,(about $200 + so far)claiming to do just what WW ads have claimed & the reviews I read (even at the yahoo group) varied greatly at the time I found out about WW. I still don't know if it will work in DAZ Studio. Does it? Or will a converted dress, etc. fly off, distort, whatever if imported into D/S. "Very Interested", but scared of sticker price.
this program sounds really great, but i have a question before i look into it any further. i tried to use "The Tailor" program to conform a piece of clothing by billy-t to a character morph by darkwing-zero. however, it seems premade morphs cannot be loaded into the program and you have to make the morphs yourself. not what i want. my question is: can Wardrobe Wizard load a premade morph (i.e. the character by darkwing-zero)and then conform clothing to work with that character? thanks!
"I still don't know if it will work in DAZ Studio. Does it? Or will a converted dress, etc. fly off, distort, whatever if imported into D/S." Well philc 's web site States this python plugin is for poserpro4 poser5 and poser6. no mention of DAZ studio that i have seen So users of DAZ studio Should not expect full functionality from a POSER plugin that makes no claims of DS compatibility
One of things that was brillant about how Phil and Kam released WW, was that they had a demo. You could try it for yourself. Still can. Go get the demo. And they had willing beta testers with all kinds of different computers and setups. They were able to fix all problems, and once the script was working perfectly, the sale ended a week or two later. It made sense the way the explained it, people who bought the program first did have to report problems and wait for an upgrade. People who buy now don't have to mess with all that stuff. They just get to add new figures as they get released. There's a new one coming out soon too, Staci. bB
I'd agree with the "best thing since conforming clothing" statement, I think it's absolutely awesome. Just for fun I was trying to make full body morphs for V2LoRes using it - it almost works (I just need to figure out how to retain the fingers). If I can get that part right then V2LoRes has all the morphs that V2 has. Pretty smooth!
Strixowl ... Attempting to clarify your question: As far as I know DS does not support Poser Python scripting therefore WW won't work inside of DS. The Minimum version that supports Python is P4Propack, not Artist nor the original P4. If you are a DS only user, WW is not for you.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
I also have WW (I got lucky and managed to get in before the sale had expired). So far I have played with it quite a bit, and as suggested above, it works pretty d*mn well! Once you get to learn the procedure (which shouldn't take long), the possibilities start to open up.... As always with programs of this nature, there are caveats. Not everything will convert 100%, but then that's to be expected. Extreme clothing and/or extreme poses will break it; but then they will also break the original stuff too.. When all's said and done, it really is well worth the money, an not only for the laughs you can get whilst fitting incongrous cloths to Dork (or whoever):-) I'm well impressed. My biggest disappointment is that I can't find any way to use WW to improve my 200-or-so saved NVIAT (with or without a sword) PZ3s... Cheers, Diolma PS: And one day I'll actually try out that "MAKE ART" button...
