Subject: PPP price differences

Here's the PPP price for Sweden directly from the Curious Labs online store: Subtotal: USD $ 250.00 Estimated Tax/VAT: USD $ 62.50 Total incl. Tax/VAT: USD $ 312.50 Which means that the $100 more that i have to pay doesn't have anything to do with taxes and VAT. Why are the the special introduction price only available for americans? /Ohman

PPP from CL OnlineStore to Switzerland: PPP: $245.00 Delivery UPS Express (no other choice!): $131.31 Taxes: $48.00 Total: $ 424.31 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( EH

I ordered a copy here in Germany. (Local software version). It cost about 200 $ by a online Software-Dealer. But relaese Date? Who knows, maybe in March. But thats okay, when I REALLY get my copy, its bug-free and there are tons of free-stuff avaible:-) (cause then the second PPP-Patch is out, american version only, so it was by metacreations) Now,its a pain that people, who lives in regions outside the great USA dont get any special introduction-prices and SUPPORT. I wait since month, that by example, corel offers the German Bryce 4.01 patch. But no thought about that.

Well, I too made the major mistake of buying a localized version of a programm - Poser. It is one of the worst mistakes I ever made. If it was only the patches and updates that were late, it would be not that much of a problem, but the fact that only americans and canadians are offered a "special introduction price" is really annoying me. Considering the high Dollar rate at the moment, 200$ for the package equal about 440,- german Marks. At that pricetag, PPP doesn't really become a desireable update. Next I konw better than to buy a localized version of any programm... Lanover

Funny, the other topics of PPP were read by curiouslabs and answered. I agree with Joerg, I was angry too when the curious newsletter reached me. No special prices for us in the new world. No information when the regional copys will be shipped. Higher prices for every local copys and Fox,youre right, the only chance is to get friendship with a stewardess:-) O.K. Poser worth it. But a little more service for the few people outside Us would be nice. Niko
