I have mentioned the TV series running here(UK) with photographers who normally use film being given a digital camera to see what they can do. Well some photo's are up on the web if you want to take a look. Those who have not seen the TV series could have a go at picking which photograph was taken with a: Nikon D2X, which with a Canon compact S70, and which with a Sony mobile phone or just take a look to enjoy what can be produced with any camera. And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

There are also some nice 19thC photographs if you follow the 'Be Inspired' link and look under Colin Harding's Themes. Some from the 1840's !

Tonight 10pm BBC4 - they do a masterclass each week afterwards in taking pics and editing with PS. Of course the pro cameras will produce higher quality images, but it shows the biggest variable in photography is the person taking the pic. and good technique and composition works on all cameras.

Bleargh. If I was forced to guess, I'd say that the third pic in the first series and the second in the second series were taked with the mobile phones. Colours. But then, I could be wildly off. Anyway, for the other two pairs, I have no idea.
