I thought there was a Simon already started...

"The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the absence but in the mastery of his passions."

TwoPynts ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 11:30 AM

Me too, but I guess we can have two this once and then start of the next one with the first poster from the other thread. Fair enough? =] We already have 3 images here....

Those thingies have been part of a nightmare for many years cos calculator meant "maths lesson"! :(

TwoPynts ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 1:33 PM

We're all a little twisted, lol. Very artfully done shot there. In your nightmare to the numbers jump off the keypad and start closing in on you? :]

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 1:53 PM

Something like that!!! ;) Man I hated and still hate maths!!

TwoPynts ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 2:30 PM

Me too, with a passion. The artist in me fights the analytical numbers part of me big time. :)

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 2:49 PM

LOL!! I see! There's no fight here though cos the analytical part must have been erased when the cells started to form! O_o

It's ancient Binary!

Each of those lines of beads is what they used to call a register (back in the days of Hard Core Memory).

Where did you ever dig this rellic up at? We used to use these in Elementary School. Then came the Slide Rule... ...Texas Instruments...

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 4:24 PM

Well, they still use it in some part of Asia but man, it's complicated!!! O_o Oh how much I love technology! :)

cryptojoe ( ) posted Mon, 27 June 2005 at 6:34 PM

My wife is a Korean National, South Korea, 'y'all!

Little punks used to go to the market place, more of a bazaar really, and mess with Agee-ma by crashing her computer (reach over and shake it when she wasn't looking).

Computer Virus? I'll never look at bubble gum again in the same way!

Imagine what that mother's board would look like when it fries?

Very cool pics...thanks. :-) I now very much need my calculator to calculate how just how many eons it takes to load this damn page. I am nearly losing my mind, let alone my coolness, I'm even considering of posting a new simon sez..called "smash thy calculator..destroy thy digital cursed adding machine! Death to the calculator!! It is evil! (Tedz...being poor is cool. I am with you. Can't take the calculator to the grave...or maybe we can...? Still, being poor is all in the eye of te poor person. Mateterialism and naturalism can be deceptive, can be abused...it can corrupt ones soul. I am learning...calculators are evil if used for immoral purposes...like IBM did for the Zazis. ;-) Thanks again all for your most-cool participation. It seems my calculations paid off on this one. -Peace/Jeff :-)
