Hiya All, BobbyStahr,Imagine Coord. here...am not a current Vue owner but have been playing around with the 5 demo. During that pursuit I chanced upon a utility for Terragen called TerraFormer2 which generates .ter files, but also outputs very nice .bmp's that work really well in Vue5 demo at least. Once you fiddle around enoug you can generate some wild terrains with it in Vue, either from a reset terrain or a combination...I've attached the link to his dl page it's bottom right and days Terraformer2...enjoy

peace

bobby

Once in a while I look around,
I see a sound
and try to write it down
Sometimes they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again

I know this utility of old, and IMHO it is far surpassed as a terrain generator by World Machine:

http://www.world-machine.com/

which also outputs in .bmp.

Bernie

I use Worldmachine (reg'd) for 2048x2048 Targa files and the results in Vue are VERY sharp. At a huge cost of $25 its well worth registering for the full version. If you do register now you'll be eligible for WorldMachine 1.0 which is in the wings right now being beta tested and from what I hear its in a different league altogether.
