I would have posted earlier but my rendering hard drive said goodbye. It started with strange clickings when I was rendering about 2 weeks ago. I pretended it was no big deal. SMART bios caught the soon to be break down so I was prepared and lost nothing but after a few reboots the drive disappeared.

Here is WIP: I used the awesome script for PSP to make the road for the image in the backround. There is a lot to fix in this picture and I am excited to finish it. The pencil looks very chewed.

It appears very good. I like the soft shadow from the glass, and the mural was an excellent idea. I would see if caustics could be produced for the transparent materials. Also, I would lower the bump-gain on the tablecloth texture.

The mural is a really clever idea! Agree about the bump on the table cloth.

Fun idea with the mural - 2D/3D/2D. Kind of a visual pun. Yep, hard drives should never click at you (other than the faint sound of head loads) - that's the head crashing (or trying to) into the surface of the media. As a PC consultant i sometimes show up with a stethescope around my neck for listening to drives, and lightening the mood a bit. Good that you do serious backups - so few people do enough of that.

I agree, the cloth is too bumpy and I'll work on the caustics. The liquid is strange. I'll work on that too. Thank you for helping

I like the brightness of this one. Kinda liked the pink liquid in the other, but the yellow works, The only problem with this workshop has been the wip's getting lost. Sure wish Rendo brought threads with new topic's in, up to the top. Don't forget to post your final in the master thread,link at top of page.
