Greetings - I don't visit here as often as I should, I am a mild fan rather than an enthusiast, but I still enjoy the fine work by all of you. My brother, Kevin, aka Pariah, recently pointed out all of the curious bits of shouting and fingerpointing going on the community. It disturbs him and makes him sad. I find it sardonically amusing, and just go on looking at what all of these sites are about, digital art and the creation thereof. But... On a new post on Rotica, Jack claims that somewhere in this "News and Team Forum", Tim points the finger directly andRotica for hacking attempts by a user known as 'Wagner'. Either I have become severely illiterate or this post does not exist because I cannot find such an item. Please point it out to me so I can read it without the benefit of bias. Thank you for your time. Please note that I can be a bit of an ass at times (another reason I don't post much.) Please don't hold any statements that I make against my brother's character.

hey Leggs, if you're curious its under the innocent heading of "Member Wagner banned", in C&D forum. You know like all the other "member (insert member name) banned" threads that we normally have, but this one is special, it wasn't for warez, it was for attempting to hack 'rosity, and supposedly he/she was an admin at 'rotica. Yes, Zerowolf is correct. Someone using the screen name "Wagner" allegedly (I believe the accusation, but have no proof; if I didn't include the "allegedly" I'd probably be slammed by a lawyer somewhere...:D) attempted to hack this site. "Wagner"'s account was disabled and the person holding it banned as a result. This "Wagner" person was also an admin at Renderotica; unfortunately, as there have been other attacks on this site allegedly originating from R'otica, Tim Choates was a little incensed and understandably but unwisely mentioned this fact in the post about "Wagner"'s banning. Some saw this mention as an attack on R'otica, and a big squabble ensued. The entire thread, in all it's gorey details, has relocated to the Complaint and Debate forum.

No allegations, no threats, really nothing at all but some strange dream I keep having that's getting way too crowded and noisy and never seems to end..........pinch me so I can awaken and move on with reality........

Hey! Can we maybe have a "I HATE THE (fill-in-blank) FORUM" no-holds-barred-flame-till-you're-a-burnt-out-husk forum? And then those few that somehow seem to enjoy this stuff could hang out there, and they could have all the friendly little flame wars they wanted and nobody else would have to endure them! Also since it is specific to forum-wars, other complaints and debates could continue in the C&D forum without being drowned out by that nonsense. Hahah great idea Thorne thanks I'm glad I thought of it...

We already have those Thorne, (too many if you ask me); they're not here, but they're very easy to get to.

It's called, appropriately enough: "The Flame Wars" forum and it's located at www.planetgeforce.com Ignore the fact that it's ostensibly a computer games site and forum, that one particular forum is no hold barred, abandon all hope ye that enter here, not for the faint of heart flaming. Hrmmm... wonder if we could work out a deal with them to send all of our flame threads from the three sites there - and all of the off topic stuff that actually deals with gaming that gets posted in there could get redirected to our gaming graphics forum...

Heh heh. I dunno... REAL proffessional flamers hang out in there. We might wind up sending these people out for advanced flamer training only to have them come back... armed to the teeth and ready to trash the rest of us. Oh my lord what a concept... ;]

Er... head to the gallery and run a "by artist search" under Darren Chapman. You won't regret making the effort. He's one of the community, but I haven't seen him online here since shortly after I joined. He was one of the people who encouraged me to make my verst image postings back in May... he sent me the nicest email in response to a comment I made on one of his images. The image blew me away... that someone would take the time to actaully email and thank a newcomer for commenting blew me away even more. Especially someone that talented.
