Subject: Uploading

Have run into a problem. Cannot upload. Screen changes to blank but stays like that. On XP, no changes made to computer. Anybody any ideas?

Can you be a little more specific? What are you uploading, an image to the gallery here?

Uh, is is blank in the browser, or the whole screen? try changing the size of the pic and the thumb, then upload. You may also have a virus or spyware.

Yes, I'm trying to upload a new image to the gallery. Problem seems to be that the bottom line stays the same and doesn't get the number stream it usually gets. On clicking on 'upload' the screen changes, then remains blank, no matter how long I wait. This never happened before and as far as I can see I have made no changes to the machine. I have virus checking, firewalls etc, so if a virus has got in I am a bit surprised. Wrote to agiel but only got a message saying he(?) had got the message, but no comment.

I did wonder if Zone Alarm could be responsible, since it seems to have a mind of its own? I am going to try to upload from my laptop which doesn't have Zone Alarm, that might be a clue. I'm surprised that I seem to be the only one with this problem.

whats the file extension, zonealarm has a prob with some layered graphics i've heard from friends...

Successfully uploaded new image from laptop, which doesn't have Zone Alarm. Looks like Zone Alarm is about to be dumped from the biggie unless I can find what's doing it. The graphics that are being uploaded have been, but are no longer,layered, so that seems to be a no brainer. I am asking ZA direct whether they are aware of any problems in this area. Let you know what they say, as I think this problem has to be ironed out for the benefit of everyone. Zone alarm has so many other benefits it would be a pity to have to get rid of it just for one simple problem.
