Subject: My first REAL venture into Photo-Manipulation!

Hey all Been experimentin in P-shop with a photo I took while at the Anime convention a couple weeks ago. This one was taken from the 3rd flr of the hotel. I kept going back to it...knowin there was some potential in this image! The next message has the postworked version.

Ok sooo here it is... after 7 layers of various adjustments including (desaturation, replace color, levels, unsharp mask) Then cropped a bit to get some of those distractions out of the way! I also used the stamp to to "erase" the letter in ZONE! This was a cool project...learned alot about selections and some of the other functions in P-Shop! Let me know what ya think??? L8r! Joe

I think...it's great! You did a super job using Photoshop's tools to make your vision come to life. OZ, just great...follow the yellow brick road anime girl! ;]

super work.. has the real oz feel too.. and quality manipulation... nice to experiment , often find it therapuetic.. keep having a fiddle in photoshop if this is the result... :)..)) love it

I saw this the other day at work. I wanted to comment, but was interrupted as normal. Looked in your gallery today, but no? This is brilliant, outstanding, creative!!! Wish I had done it, hope this image gets posted where more viewers can appreciate it than just the forum:}
