Me again! Good news, tomorrrow we are going shopping for my birthday present (the book) and it doesn't look like barnse and noble carries the crappy one so it looks like i'll get a better one afterall! Won't be able to read it until July 04 though since that's when we're celebrating my birthday :( Anyway, having a serious problem with animating my bowling pin graphic that was posted a day ago. Before the question/problem, this is my super cheesy but hopefully original and funny animation idea! Instead of the 9 bowling pins getting bowled over with a ball, the pin in front is an evil pin holding a sword. He does a complete counter clockwise circle and slices off all the heads of the other 8 pins in one quick motion. Instead of the heads falling down, they all float up and create one big ball which then casts a shadow over the evil pin's head. The evil pin notices a shadow, tilts it's head up, tilts the head down in shame and all the pin remains get squished when the ball falls on them. lol, what do you think? Anyway, the question.. I've tried the animation a number of times and it never goes right. Not even close. I create a keyframe every 2-4 seconds when the evil pin is rotating with his sword but once I play the animation and go back to adding more things, I only have 2 keyframes! the first frame and the last frame. This happens every bloody time I save something and come back to it. Of the 5 or so keyframes that were created, only the first and last frame work when I hit the skip to next keyframe button. Any ideas what might cause this? Or is this expected to happen? The animation still loads like it did with all the keyframes, I just can't skip to where they are so I can't edit them in the right places. And another question... is there a way to clear a timeframe so you go back to the first frame and everything else gets deleted? After the few messups, it'd be nice if there's a way to clear all animation and return to the static single frame image without reverting back to the saved copy.

Not sure what might be causing this...is this Bryce 5.5 ? Nothing like that has ever happen to me in B5. I find Bryce 5.5 is to unstable for me to use on a regular basis, so I still do most of my creating, rendering and testing in B5 Here's the answer to one question Need to delete all the keyframes in a project. Hold the Ctrl/Shift/Alt keys, then click on the delete keyframe button. A pop-up message will appear, and all the keyframes will be deleted when the message is exited. Warning this function is not reversible, once the first message pops-up, all keyframe will be deleted no matter how the message is exited.
