Subject: first bee captured

this is my first bee... arghh you dont know the the grief at running around a bee has cost.. ever since jerones birthday... sighes at last tracked a little fellow down... but would like to ask the marco experts their opinion before posting.. hugs to all

looks good to me... dead on focus of the bee surrounded by a contrasting purple haze :] oh! & congrats nikki!!

Wonderful capture, could use a tiny bit more dof tho, although these bumbles are quite tricky to capture :o) The move around an awful lot, especially on warm days... imo a superb capture :o) Hugs, Jeroen

I agree with Jeroen...could be a little sharper with more DOF, but I would be proud to post this in my gallery:}jim

Wow, I finally found my way here !!! :))) I love this Nikki... you got lucky your Bee landed on something beautiful.

Looking good :) I find getting the DoF perfect is hard even on static subjects, let alone on bees like this that flit from flower to flower faster than I can focus on them. Its a thimbs up from me. :D

well this was a first attempt a while back little guy decided to crawl inside the flower just as the l clicked hehehehe.. hugs to cynlee and enmos, ryno, tizz and wivelrod.. thank for looking... visit the forum more shani its fun.... yes Dof coulda been deeper.. but was avoiding the grey dull dim sky.. and trying to make up for the lack of natural light..didnt want to much of the background in the picture..agree wivelrod... heheheh was thinking of placing glue on petals in the garden (wicked )
