Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 03 12:46 am)
Bookmark is how someone gets updates to the thread in their email. People do this on interesting threads so they can get to the answer. As for your answer, I am not too sure, but if the problem came from Python, and continues after a restart of Poser, here are a few ideas. 1) Go to File-->Reinitialize Python. Sometimes Python just needs that in Poser. 2) Restart the computer, and start a new file. This one may be wrecked. 3) You may want to go ahead and reinstall Poser. Maybe something is corrupted internally. If this is the same file that is doing the same thing, make sure you try a brand new Poser file. As I said, this one may be totally corrupted. (It happens, save early, save often, is my mantra.) Hope some of this helps!
If after 1 and 2 you were good, then I will have to say it was Python needing to be reinitialized. It needs that somtimes. Also, Poser likes to mess a lot with the memory on your computer. The reboot clears that up. The other thing to keep in mind is doing a defrag of your hard drive fairly often. Once a week if at all possible. Poser makes a total mess out of your file system. The defrag puts that all back together at least decently. Glad this helped!
Heh I tried that script once as well and nearly crapped myself when it seemed to have messed up the V3 character for good, even after a reload. Luckiyl a reboot fixed the problem, but I was scared there for a moment, too LOL Exploring python scripts can be fun, but also hairraising G

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
