Subject: How do I make the FACE ROOM texture the same as the body texture?

mandyyjobs ( ) posted Sun, 03 July 2005 at 9:53 PM ยท edited Mon, 02 December 2024 at 5:33 PM

I am trying to make a few different ethnicities in the program, but when I apply to the figure, the head is a completely different colour than the body! Is there a way to automatically change the skin colour of the whole body when I apply the FACE ROOM texture?

Search for Dr Geep's faceroom tutorial. It goes through the whole faceroom process and has details about adjusting the textures.

I was looking at that tutorial - although it seems like alot of work, it didn't seem to answer the question I was seeking!

If you're trying to do something quick and easy, keep the morph from the face room but don't use the texture. Use the material room for color to both, or download some free textures.

1st off, are you using Poser 5 or Poser 6? I don't know about Poser 5 but in Poser 6 when you hit apply a box will popup stating that the skin textures are different colors, do you want them to match. Obviously you should click on Yes at that point. Don't know if Poser 5 had that feature though. I has worked with ethnic morphs and textures just fine for me so far. Sometimes you may have to adjust the tint on the head or body in the material room slightly.

If you are using judy, you can look in the poser sites for victoria 2 ethnic textures and use them with judy.

Ok, so just look for Victoria ethnics and I won't have any problem mapping them on to the default of Judy? Thanks for the replies!

Victoria 3 textures wont work with judy, only victoria 1 and 2 textures.
