Is there any program that can take say a fractal picture and make a 3d model of it? Have most of the freebies, shade 7 lightwave something or other and wings.....Thanks

Well if you change the picture to a greyscale then you can use it for a heightmap in Bryce or almost any terrain modeler. The first things I did was making mountains based on the Julia fractal set in vista pro in the early 90's. There is a freeware version of terragen so that woudl be something you could use for it. I think lightwave can do it I am not sure. There is probably soem other ways to do it too.

Attached Link: XenoDream

XenoDream does fractals and can export them in 3D as .obj or POV files.
