I have been working on this image for to long to be objective . Honest feedback for any improvements I would be so thankful for. I wouldn't mind it you said it was trash at this point:} BTW all the images are my original photos, some from my train trip across the country.

so much going on here that one might miss if they look to fast the money the car dripping oil the ship and the oiltank .. i think it is wonderfully creative and does send a strong message.. original and awesome...!! WOW ,,, my only thought would be to line it with a black frame to pick up the darks in the car and the ship... nice work!

kimmers ♥ :O)

Looks great and sends a strong message, the car could be a tack softer, it standing too much out and distracts from the other parts of the picture. And I would turn the words on the tank for just a bit to the right so they align with the rounding of the tank. Well, that from my side ... Ulf

i love this, Jim! i think all that bright red is perfect...to me it's symbolic of all the spilled blood from the war. You really did an awesome job getting a message across and a wonderful job with this image! Trash? no way, mister!!! :) the only thing that's distracting me a bit are the flowers and that one bright yellow spot above the flowers. i like how you did the fern leaves. i dunno...hard to explain about the flowers but something about them...maybe the lighting/shadows that i don't care for. it's kinda muddy maybe...like i'm not seeing details on flower on the bottom. one other little tiny thing...the area around the bottom of the flowers and on the sides where you've smudged, i might try to blend that a bit more. i think it's an AWESOME image, and i LOVE how you've put this together! looks like you've put soooo much work into it! very creative, thought out and put together! hope to see this one in your gallery!!! :)

The Work....is complete...and when everyone has an input....You will loose Yourself....this is just an opinion...and in no way is mean't to offend...perhaps it is just My old fashioned way....but...have more Faith in Yourself....the opinions of others cloud the issue....salute

btw...I like it just how it is! salute

Kimmers, thanks for taking the time to notice the details, and yes I'm going to frame it in some shade of black. TheSecond, the car IS the image, it is the shinny obsession of our self image that we can not dare to part with. A large proportion of this society would rather have people kill and die for the gas for their SUV than be seen riding a bike. Sorry a little strong, but not far from the truth. The text on the oil tank I missed and will change thanks for your honest feedback. I hope this reply is not seen as hostile, it's just something I am passionate about, in peace and cooperation:} Sheila, first I want to say I have been thinking about your mother, and sending her all the healing energy I have. Your comments alone make what I do worth while.I agree about the flowers and the bottom of that layer, I just ran out of time and energy. Tedz, thanks for the vote of confidence. I am very strong willed and confidant. I just get a little lost from the main stream. My goal here is to send a message to as many people as possible and that's why I need to know what works at the sake of art. Your still my surrealism hero.

Hey Jim! I know sometimes we can be our own worse critic! At times thats a good thing as it makes us strive to improve. However, there are times when we're TOO hard on ourselves...this impedes on the creative process! We get wrapped up in the li'l things so much that a idea becomes a perpetual "work in Progress" and never truly a finished work. The original concept then get lost in the process! Let me tell ya...This image DOES get YOUR message across...BIG TIME..AS IS! The vivid coloring ties everything together and GRABS hold! My eye travels from the car to that tanker and then back up to the flowers and oil tank message! A STRONG VISUAL STATEMENT is what I see! You put alot into this image and it shows! My 2.5 cents! Joe

Jim! I think that L8RDAZE said what I was going to say.... but said it so perfectly! At times- we are quite hard on ourselves- and whan that happens to me (especially on here) I take a look at a certain quote that sits on my 'Rosity homepage. Your message is very well-done & quite clear in this image! Ken
