Marque I think you and I subscribed around the same time. I didn't renew when things started going a bit crazy either. But just want to remind you and anyone else, to dig up those old PoserStyle clothing we did get because I have found they work fantastic with the Wardrobe Wizard. :-)

Agreed. I loved their stuff, but they were ALWAYS having trouble with the site.

Thanks" What a statement, the truth is, the site isn't closed for maintenance at all, but due to the dissappearance of the site owner. No one knows the complete details, but he seems to have been badly ill. anyway, the owner never has shown any interest in the site and the users, guess his only interest was money. He harldy ever was around and never fixed any of the problems with his stuff. The stuff there is great (if it worked), but the service is completely lacking. Also the releases were very irregular and a request was never granted. You're much better of at PoserWorld.

I hope I am not being too calous given the possible difficulties of the site owner but I really want the product I ordered as I think it is important to my work. If the author of the M2 Character Construction Set is someone other than the site owner would they get in touch with me please... although I paid for it already I would be glad to pay for it again directly to the author. I have never been able to use M2 properly and I think this would be a great help to me now. I am sorry if folks over there are unwell and I don't mean to badger or denegrate... I am just hoping to get my hands on this neat product, I hope that is not too petty. The purchase came from my MorphWorld 2.0 Archive Disc purchase fund :) Hopefully everyone is well as can be :(

Yup, made a lot of promises. There are items I can't use because he never fixed them, although I was told I would get an updated zip even if I was no longer with them. Never happened. There might a set here or at rdna that would work momodot. I don't think you're being out of line by wanting something you paid for. Marque

The Site is being moved to a new Host and of course Server. The PoserStyle.com Domain is suppose to be moved as well. It was suppose to have been finished by the end of June, but as with many plans it went out the window. Will plans on making amends to all current and past members, once he has the site up and running that should please all of you (provided he can get the site running.)

Isn't this the 4th time he's moved servers? Don't buy that excuse anymore. He will have to do a lot to get my money. Marque

I was a member for quite some time. I really liked the stuff he put out. But...

1. The site ALWAYS seemed to be having problems

2. The material was released sporadically, even though it originally said a new item every week

3. There was a lack of support in the community for the items, as far as textures, etc. goes I'm not sure if I would go back considering the number of times there were problems. Being the site owner of 2 sites, a part-time artist, a fairly active lifestyle (work out everyday), social commitments (meet with friends at least two nights out of the week) and a full-time job - I STILL find time to make sure my sites are up. He needs to be more responsible... and responsive. People like to feel like they are getting their money's worth - not like they've been jipped because they can't even get to the site. Leaving the brief, non-explanatory message shows how little he cares. A more descriptive message would have been much more appropriate. Something like: To All Members Sorry, but we are temporarily closed while we transfer the site to a new webhoster to better serve you. This new web hoster will give you increased speed in accessing the site and downloading, as well as increased stability and availability. We will be open again on ??/??/???? and all members will have an extra month (or whatever) added to their account for their inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding. PS - Feel free to copy and paste it on your site. You might actually keep some customers. Hopefully... you mean it.

I joined originly back when they had not long been open. Back then we got 1 item a week more or less. The stuff was good it was always good there was never a question of the quality of the work. BUt the site owner takes no interest. The only reason anything happens at all is because one guy does stuff and he is only helping out. He isnt paid for it if I understood it. If he just says stuff this and walks away and i don't blame him if he does then Poserstyle will cease to function. As it stands they are very close I think to ripping people off. The site has often been down of late. The owner not taking an active part in it. There were rumors before that modelers didn't see any money for the work they did. I liked the stuff to. But when my sub runs out this time I won't resub. New items are few and far between. I'm almost at the point where I think if Poserstyle dies a natural death and ceases to be then it won't be a bad thing. Great work is done by modelers. Nothing is done by the owner. Its bad and there has been nothing at all I have seen to show that it will get better.

They really started off well and it is a shame that it went down hill IMO. I thought it would survive when Rena started doing their textures, but something happen and that did not continue. I was actually sad to see this, but promises made and not kept, made the decision to not continue with Poser Style subscription, easy for me. I have been around long enough to have tried a lot of subscription sites and again IMHO you can't beat Poser World and Traveler's Prop Club for quality, reliablity and positive customer caring. I find that I tend to gravitate my buying also, such as it is, towards those people and sites that I have seen and known over the years to be not only quality but reliable, helpful, honest and caring.
