You don't have a manual??? Try a right mouse click on the material preview - in the upper right or in the material summary window. There you are!

One more question please, how can I use a JPG or BMP image as texture?????

Are you on the demo version? Looks like. Texture - go to color and select mapping instead of procedural color. Then a little square opens and there you can load your bitmap. Be aware that this is difficult here at Renderosity. Because of the no tolerance for warez copies thingie. Normally the "correct" answer is the manual page. Only the demo does not have a printed manual, therefore i assume you have that.

Actually, I bought the vue 4 download version. Very inexpensive, but also no manual. Perfectly legal registered copy, just stripped down. (no box, no extras)

Tks a lot again for the answers, really full help for me. Wabe instead of reading 3-4 pages,a friend's answer for 2 lines explains to me better what I dont understand. As you did.For that reason I like forums.Regards

You need to read 4 pages in the manual to find where to open the material editor? I doubt that. I understand peoples basic questions that deal with the download versions - Vue 4 or demos but such questions are quicker checked on the command overview page than written into any forum. However, good that i was able to help.
