Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
The mapping is completely different on all four P6 figures. They aren't texture-compatible with any previous figures (or with each other, for that matter), and Dark_Whisper's Universal Texture Convertor utility doesn't support the P6 figures yet.
A few texture sets for Jessi are already available, mostly here and at RDNA.
Morph-wise, I think the figures have some potential. However, other than expressions, they don't have a lot of built-in morphs. You'd almost certainly want to invest in the head and body morphs sold at RDNA and Netherworks Studios.
Also, Jessi has some known joint issues out-of-the-box, and there are those who consider her physique and proportions to be unnatural. Jim Burton has spent considerable effort retooling the figure into "Glamorous Jessi". You might want to visit PoserPros and take a look before making any final decisions.

A lot of the textures are wrapped up with morphs in character sets though, which GJ can't use. (She can only use the head morphs). Be nice if some of them were broken out.
Anyway, Glamorous Jessi is designed to be a finished figure in her own right, she has all the original P6 head and chest morphs already fitted, plus a limited number I've added. Everything else you need comes with P6, unless you want to get her something to wear. ;-) Morphs included are nothing like what you get with V3, but she isn't designed to be all things to all people, either, she is a single purpose figure, like Aiko or the Girl, with some variations on this standard.
There is a lot of information about her at PoserPros, as Little Dragon mentioned, you can also see how she evolved, but she is actually located at Content paradise, per the link.

Right now I am using poser 5. I'm burned out on the stock characters that come with it and with V3. I really don't like injection based characters. I would like to start using the P6 characters but I don't want to spend the money to upgrade if they are no better than the stock P5's. What can you tell me about the texture sets and the morphability (face and body) of the new characters?
