Just now getting into P6. How do I make the eyes on my chars look more alive, you know shiney. They look dull and dead. Thanks, Marque

Use the Spectacular setting in the Material Room. Usually, try setting it on black for dull, white for really shiny, and then grays in between.

Oh, and I should add, look for a more photorealistic texture to use for the eyes too, if you haven't been using one already. That makes a lot of difference.

If you're using the new P6 IBL lighting, the IBL lights won't generate any specular highlighting by themselves. You'll want to set up a separate specular-only light to create those highlights in the eyes. There's a good tutorial at the attached link.

Actually had picked a really nice one that is photorealistic, and it turned white when I used the Real Skin product. Hard to believe this is the original Stephanie. Thanks, Marque

The materials turn white in preview mode because P5/6 cannot identify which texturemap to use when there are multiple nodes in the system.

For eyes - there have been a few posts on this. Check

All depends how real you want to get I guess....
