Take a look at my V3's breasts. I've set all the relevant body and chest morphs to 0; its not the collar joint controls; the deformation doesn't appear when the figure is at the zero pose. There's no other deformations on her body that I can detect. And its not just this pose, I think its almost any pose.

I have V3, V3 SR2, and V3 SAE. Some time ago I morphed this character before I had SAE V3 (and V3 SR2, maybe), saved her to my figure library, then at some point installed V3 SAE, and now when I open her, I get this. Didn't I read somewhere that there can be problems using older morphs with the newer V3 versions? If I create a character from scratch by loading V3 SAE, then inject all the morphs, then inject a character or start morphing, I don't have this problem. Does any of this make sense?

Its not that big a deal, I can recreate this character, but I'd just like to learn more about what's happening. Thanks for your enlightenment.

Make sure you have the SR1 for the body morph pack. Some of the morphs wer changed a little.

Which version of V3 are you using in the pic? The first version and, AFAICR, SR1 had problems with the chest/breast morphs. SR2 and SAE are almost identical except for the addition of hand scaling and expressions in SAE. BTW, what hair is that?

I've had that happen too sometimes. I'll check to see if I need to update the morph packs from DAZ. I did buy them two or three years ago, so I probably don't have an updated version if it was updated.

Thanks for your replies... Martian: I'm pretty sure that I installed SR1, then SR2, then SAE. Perhaps I'm confused.... I take it there is a separate SR1 just for the body morphs... hmmm, I'll check.. SamTherapy: "which version" am I using? Uh, I don't know, that's part of what I don't understand. Don't older characters simply "reference" the newer V3? Or perhaps I'm utterly clueless and need to brush up on basic Poser file FAQs.. The hair is Quarker's "Silky Long Hair" with a texture by Gold Tassel, but available here. Beautiful hair, renders perfectly in closeups. Thanks again folks.

SR1 was the only named update that changed the basic figure (I think, some changes to joints and possible channel names - I don't think the grouping changed as it did for Michael 3 SR1) - SR2 added the channels for the International Beauties set and SAE (the current version) made the expression morphs pre-loaded (and added new ones) and added the scalable hands. SR1 did occur in two bites - there was a SR1.1 shortly after SR1. I can't remember how the morph packs went - the Male pack was certainly updated.

Yes, there were SR1's issued for the head and body morph packs. Ask for a reste of your downloads of the morph packs and the version that downloads should be the SR1 version.

I definitely have SAE installed for awhile. I see the dials for the built-in expressions. Are these updates comprehensive, ie, if you install SAE, you don't need to install prior updates? Also, I re-installed every V3 related patch from Daz, and I'm still having the same problem... but just on this figure.

Thanks, linkdink. I have SLH but never seen it looking like that. I must buy the textures you used. Your figure looks like a pre-SR1 version. Sure, the OBJ is more or less the same (there were some minor changes to the mapping) but SR1 and 2 both changed the CR2 and the morphs. SR1 corrected joints, mapping and morphs. SR2 included AMG (Anne Marie Goddard) channels. If you're using a pre SR1 version, you will need to recreate your character.

Hehe, her facial expression looks like she's down right pissed at the bad boob job, lol

When you save a character in the figure folder, it retains all the original cr2's informations, so it's not a problem with SAE/non-SAE versions.
When you reload it, its only culprit could be a different obj reference, but I don't think it was changed between versions (at least, I'm not aware of).

Did you built it in Poser4/5 and are you now trying to open it in Poser6?
I think that CL changed something in the program, and sometimes a perfect character in P5 leads to a less than good result in P6; it could be the units, it could be the environment workspace, don't know, but some magnets built in P5 didn't worked in P6 for me.

And your problem really seems starting from a displaced magnet zone...did you used magnets here?

Ah, and yes...better change the plastic surgeon, when someone became too rich it loses interest in his/her job ;-)))
