Got a marketing survey call from a corel last night, re bryce 5. Standard "how much do you bryce", "is this price point acceptable" questions. Part that got me asked if a selling point would be integration with other software. Poser and Lightwave were mentioned in the context of importing scene files into bryce (ala poser pro pack). Nifty if true. Anyone else get the call? Mitch

No call, but i got the Bryce 5 Beta test agreement today. Just faxed it back. Anyhow, the vendors do tend to read these forums, so perhaps all our hollering will bear fruit, eh?

There's a rumor going round that Corel might not be offering upgrades, only straight versions. Check out C&D for a thread about a call from Corel considering Painter.

Sounds like we are all here betasites for Corel Bryce 5...here is one of the germans testing for Corel. Is it your first beta for Corel?

This is certainly my first beta test... i'm still scrambling to backup data before i put the darned thing on my system (it arrived late last week). Can't wait! Guess i'll see some of you on the Beta news group...
