doesn't it have to do with the amount of RAM? Or more specifically, how Bryce or Poser move stuff in and out of RAM? I'm pretty sure if you upped your RAM Poser wouldn't be such a dog on your PC.

Don't forget, with Bryce 5.5 you get DAZ/Studio attached. I've found Studio very helpful and easier to use than Poser. The main advantage being: It's easier to pose stuff You get all your morphs in one place and so don't have to dig around for them. If you aren't satified with a pose you can still pop back into DAZ/Studio and adjust to suit. (That is until you break the DAZ/Studio link)

Hello :) I was thinking of purchasing Bryce and I was wondering how is the render time for average Poser images? I'm having issues with the Poser5 renderer and even Poser6 poops out on me on what I consider simple images, a background, single figure or 2 figures and a few lights and it seems when it gets to a certain point it just quits [granted, not all the time it's about 50-50 tho], so I have something on one of the characters that it does like [weird thing is, on a certain 2 person image I've taken either toon out and it renders fine in P5, put them together with no changes and P5 dies]. so I'm stuck to using the old mule, Poser4 render engine but while it does the image, some things are not that good such as hair quality. I've noticed that a lot of people are using either Vue or Bryce for their renders and I was just curious as I haven't seen a compare image of a Poser Vs Bryce...just wondering....thanks for your time!!
