Subject: Poser Cartoon Display: OpenGL vs Sreed

This question is about the Cartoon w/Line display option in Poser 6. (One can access it via menu option Display->Document Style-> Cartoon w/Lines)

The OpenGL cartoon w/Line option displays shadows differently than that of the Sreed option. Is there any way to make the OpenGL option display shadows correctly? The Sreed version's shadows match the shadows of the final rendered scene, but the OpenGL version doesn't.

I would like to use the OpenGL cartoon w/line option, but with correct shadows on the character. Is there any way to get the OpenGL option to match the lighting of the regular scene?

Thank yew.

You have 5 toon shading styles available in Poser 6 OpenGL. ( Right Click > Toon Tones > ... ) You can edit these styles with any paint program. They can be found in ...runtimetexturestoon. I generally lighten them by about 40% so they match the rendered toon shader more closely. As far as shadows they are basiclly the same between SreeD and OpenGL you will only get the ground shadow and it's not really based on lighting. It's just directly below the figure. Nerd3D
