Subject: Desperate!

Ok, I just got done installing Poser4 last night. When I opened it and it was about done loading, I got a message saying there was an error opening "MaleCaslo.obj" but it still let me play around with the opening figure. When I went to open the slide window on the right of the screen "Libraries" it says "Libraries folder cannot be found or created". What should I do, PLEASE help! ~Steve

Mac or Windws? In the same location as Poser 4, is there a "Runtime" folder? Inside that is there a "Libraries" folder? If not, how did you install Poser?

It's the only thing on my D-drive. It has a whole bunch of icons including the Poser one. Above it is the "renderosity" folder with everything in it including "Libraries" and "Geometries". So I have no clue!

Don't ask me! That's the oddest situation I ever heard of. :) Really, really, odd.... I doubt it's the full Poser version since it installed for me without a single hitch. I've never tried the demo. Were there any problems with it? Greywolf

Sounds like you're missing one of the "People" like the Male Casual figure. Try talking with Curious Labs and see what they say.

Are you saying that you have your "Libraries" and "Geometries" folders in a folder named "renderosity" and not in a folder named "Runtime"? The Poser.exe and Poser.rsr files can be in any directory BUT... the remaining files and folders for Poser must be in a directory UNDER that one and must be named "Runtime". Poser's file structure is very picky and most of it cannot be moved or renamed.
