Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
Go to the "Window" drop-down menu at the top of the Poser 6 screen and select "Python Scripts." When you've opened the Python window, there's a python button labeled "Utility Funcs". If you click on it, it displays a new row of python buttons and one of them is "delete all lights." See, it's built into Poser 6. You had it all along. -jjsemp
The script that came with P6 is the one that was giving me trouble. The version of Ockham's that seems to be working fine he provided as a text download (change the extension to .py): http://www.renderosity.com/photos/MSG2/Message1713815.txt in this thread: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1713781

I used Ockham's delete lights script successfully in P5, but it's not working in P6. Most of the time, the light controls appear to be unchanged and in the preview window I get a completely white screen. After that, loading a set of lights has no effect, nor does re-running the script. I tried using the script that came with P6 as well as the one from Ockham's website (perhaps they're the same one). I read a couple of posts that had to do with problems caused by lights created in P4 that had their map values too large or something (?). Maybe I'll try to use his light panel to reduce those values before running the script....? The lights that seemed to add themselves rather than replace the previous set were part of Blackhearted's set (which are excellent.) There seemed to be a similiar problem with Danea's Radiance Pro lights as well.... Thanks for any enlightenment.
