www.female-anatomy-for-artist.com is a great site. It's the sister site to www.3d.sk so the quality is very good.Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.

You can get lots of source photos for free by visiting the various photography/art communities where members keep galleries.

There are also a series of books called 'Virtual Pose #' where '#' is 1, 2, etc. They come with a large number of reference photos and a CD. Their web site is at the link.Steve
You don't want to forget about books if you want a resource you plan to use a lot. Even my poorly-stocked local bookstores have quite a few artist reference books. If you're looking for specific themes, it might be a cheaper and eaiser-to-use alternative (and might even come in cheap versions at Amazon.com).

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.
Why not try a google search for modeling sites? You can always reference the poses that way. Also look for celebrity sites, or fan sites for celebrities. You can often find some nice poses that way. Then there is the old fashioned junk mail flyers that come to your door, or online catalogues for clothing.

That's what I've been doing so far to find the pose. However, it takes quite a bit of time trying to search for that right pose and the angle of the picture. I usually end up spending majority of time searching because I am kind of picky about this. That's why I was asking for the website that hosts reference pictures so I can quickly search by the index or titles.
And thanks to you all for helping me out, those links are very useful, and I'll be sure to look into those reference books also.

Does anybody know a website that has pictures of various human poses for referencing? The poses could be anything general, like standing, running, sitting, riding vehicles (motorcycle, bicycle), or hand poses for gripping gun, swords, tools, etc.
