I'm sure that you would find plenty of people to take you up on your offer. Before you spend any money, though, I suggest that you check current prices for supplies and figure out a price list for prints. There has been suggestions for that service through Renderosity, but I think it's on the back burner right now.
Yup wyrwulf am fully aware of current prices. It was too expensive before when I started but now prices for ink and paper have come way down. I am putting this feeler out there because I'm not going to spend $400 on ink unless I can use it up have a batch now that I can't use because of the ink jets being clogged from lack of use. If anyone shows interest I will work up a decent price list and post it hopefully on my never finished web site or maybe here if allowed somewhere. Believe it or not the ink was $800 dollars and paper for 50 prints was around $280 when I bought it! Thank god those have came down by half! Do the math it was expensive! Well not to bad for just plain file print..but I was doing collage work for people and nobody wanted to pay for the time involved..but just doing prints of finished work is a big time saver and makes it affordable for everyone I think. Wish I had know about Renderosity when I was running it earlier........:)
I'd don't know if one person qualifies as enough of an interest for you to work up a price list... but I have a definate interest. Mayhaps we can get a bit more feedback going. Something like that would be up for high volume printing, but for limited edition and or signed edition prints it would be perfect. Also for limited print run posters.
"I am a good person now and it feels... well, pretty much the same as I felt before (except that the headaches have gone away now that I'm not wearing control top pantyhose on my head anymore)"
Thanks... I know that several of my prized wall hangers are signed, limited edition prints by Dell Harris. He's one of those slightly obscure artists that almost never sets up a table at a big sci-fi convention without selling out completely. Man does the most fantastic pencil and pen and ink work...

Cool Ironbear! Eventually I will be running off some test prints for the staff here like yourself and you can all judge the quality and print media. I have about 7 diff kinds of paper from photo, matt, canvas and you should see the art board that goes through this thing it's quite nice! And I actually have some work coming up thats good enough for printing...lol
Sharp... look forward to it. Y'know... we need to get some more traffic through this forum so other people can weigh in on this. sigh

Nah take it slow and easy Ironbear. I jumped in feet first when I bought this printer and paid a dear mistake for that......hehe The bryce and poser prints I did in the early stage were stunning and I think everyone has an interest in seeing their work in large format. What's the old saying..."build it and they will come"...lol I don't want to get swamped probably couldn't keep up, just a slow and steady interest; enough work to keep me going but not take away from my art...;) So far I'm seeing enough to get me ready to order some print heads ink to get it back online.. And I want to thank everyone for posting comments about this!

This is probably already covered, but I have to ask for the sake of asking. I have a Encad Nova Jet Pro 36 inch Printer collecting dust in my bedroom. It's only a couple of years old and already outdated at 300 dpi but does nice 3d bryce, poser etc. prints on all kinds of paper including canvas. Was wondering if I should get it back up and running. If this area is not covered here and anyone thinks they might like to see their work in poster print let me know. Working another job and trying to run a graphics business and learn all these programs has been a bit too much for me. And I was not getting enough bites locally to make the printer worth my time. But if it sounds like something all the members of Renderosity would be interested in, I would considering replacing the dead ink heads and polishing it up for a run. Don't really care about making much money just would like to cover the costs of the ink and paper and put it to use once again. Let me know!
