It pops up in various places on the DAZ site, and I picked it up with the 3D Starter package, last autumn. That has both Mike and Vickie in the reduced-resolution form, plus various props and scenery, and a range of other figures. Worth checking out. Trouble is, the RR characters don't use the INJ morph tech that the full versions do. They're actually a bit bigger than the base V3 but, unless you want to use add-on morphs, that includes everything. If memory is tight, you can always delete morphs you don't need, and save a character-specific CR2. The OBJ file is about 2.3 MB compared to the 8.2 MB of the full version. Of course, that doesn't tell you such a lot about the end results. But I've found that the RR figure is good for most uses. I've once-or-twice had different poke-through problems to the full version. Unless you're doing facial close-ups. at high resolution, I think the RR version is fine.
I've sometimes toyed with the idea of making a less data-heavy CR2 file, deleting unwanted morphs for the character, or maybe even making an INJ-morph version. There's nothing magical about this, but it looks like being a lot of work. If you don't plan to distribute a character, it could be well worth doing. The RR figure does have a lot of head-shape morphs, and each one can contain a lot of data.
Kawecki - she's a doll! I make lower resolution versions of all my characters. You can save the face as an expression and it applies to the RR just fine. Same with the bodies. The lower poly count speeds things up a little - but when you're doing animation, a little time per frame sure saves a lot of time in the overall project. TV and DVD is such a low resolution medium to start with that the lower character resolution is hardly noticable. I'll post some pics in the next couple of days. Tracy

Thought this came with mimic 3 pro....has anyone bought this and if so what do you think of it? Need a low resolution character for animations that I can use with mimic 3 pro. Marque
