Subject: Vue 5 Infinite (Reguarding Real-World Maps) Help?

Well this is a question reguarding Vue 5 Infinite's ability to import a USGS map similar to what VistaPro Renderer 4.2 uses. I would like to be able to import a real-world map into Vue 5 Infinite. Would this be possible? I do not own VistaPro Renderer 4.2 because I prefer Vue, yet I like the way that VistaPro can use real-world maps. It would save alot of time since all I want to do is to create is a realistic 3D mapping of Australia.

There is a very good program for converting terrains called 3dem that might be useful for you. You can save the usgs dem as a picture if vue can do heightfields and you can save the dem as a terragen file if you have terragen and it can save as a 3d object, too.

Here is the homepage for 3dem with some links to dems and some other things.
