You can use Dance studio on windows XP. Load the program Even tho it says it want work with xp. The program will load, next go to yor program file in the start menu, find metacreation Dance studio, on the start program icon, right click , properties, compatibility,and tell it to open in windows 98 compatibily mode. You will still need the patch for the BVH export. If anyone has this patch please let me know. I can't find mine. skee

sorry, I have the program, but until I hear that it is legal to give you a copy, I can only say look on ebay. skee

Thanks! I actually wasn't asking for a copy. I just wanted to know where I could buy it. I will go to ebay and check. I hadn't thought to look there. jaebea

I got it on ebay several years back for $2.49. I have it loaded on one of my old PCs.

Metacreations came out with a patch so that the Bvh files could be exported, do you happen to have the patch? If you do I would be interesred in obtaining it. It would not be illegal to give someone the patch because you would have to own the program to use it. thanks skee

Is there anywhere on the planet that you can get Dance Studio now??? Perhaps EF should but it and re-release it with the BVH export patch...

A persona named redsapphire is selling Dance Studio NIB on Ebay. 3 copies, he says. No I don't know this person. And I'd love to know if someone has the patch too. Before I succumb.;-)

Thanks theodote but when i searched redsapphire on ebay that member wasn't selling anything, i have contacted that member to see if they are selling any Dance Studios and i don't know where the patch would be, it must be somewhere on the internet.

Its on Ebay.com and im in the UK on Ebay.co.uk, and redsapphire only delivers to USA... Just my luck...lol Thanks kenyarb but i have tried that one

I asked redsapphire directly if he'd ship to Old Blighty and he was very helpful. My copy of Dance Studio arrived a few minutes ago. Now. Am I right in thinking I need a patch to export all these crazy moves?!
