I'd very much like to design entirely new plants in Vue 5 Infinite. Is there a way to do this within the software without the need to modify existing plants? I've not been able to find out how to do so in the reference manual. If it isn't possible to do this in the software, is there another piece of software I can buy that will allow me to do so? What I would like to do is create a better selection of real-world plant life and possibly distribute the files as they're completed.

Xfrog is fantastic but it ain't cheap ( 300 /$) and it won't come as a .veg file in Vue, you'll have to convert it to .vob, which means no wind effect and no solid growth, which is a big drawback if you're using Vue Infinite or 4Pro. But it's the best software around as far as I'm concerned.

Not to forget TreePro from Onyx. Look there. By the way, for all flower lovers out there, Onyx has a flower module. Looms fantastic! Ok, is not the cheapest in the world i would say, but the results look very promising. Back to the originla question here. No, not possible to start from scratch with new plants, you need to modify an existing one. But the variety is big, so you probably will find a base for what you plan.

my reply went awol... yes i would recomend xfrog and onyx aswell atleast for now since vue wont let you create entirely new plants, as wabe said you can modify existing plants to look almost unique and you can combine several plants aswell.
