Subject: Dance studio patch?

I hate to be a bother, but does anyone out there have the metacreation update patch that went with the dance studio program? I know that I have it somewhere on my computer, but I don't know what it was called. I have searched about everwhere I can think of, on the web and on my computer. I even tried the wayback site. Thanks for any help. skee

At one time long ago there was a member here call Norbert, is this member still around? He or she? had the patch . Norbert help me with it back in 2002 I think. Anyone know how to get in touch with Norbert?

As far as I know The original source files came from SAM3D and the joint writers are: Mike and Sharen Custer. Hope this helps you Regards PXP

here's the link for Norbert on Rosity, you can contact here. I have search for the files on www.SAMS3D.com but there are only 3D models on the site,as well as i looked here at Rosity.. http://www.renderosity.com/members.ez?Who=SAMS3D but also found no mention. If you have any joy Skee drop me a line as i am also interested in getting the patch....

We created a "Dance Studio" model, not the Dance Studio program. We have no patch...Sharen

Sharen, Thanks for the reply, there was a misunderstanding about what I was looking for. I was looking for the program Dance studio patch. Your model is perfect and does not need a patch. Everthing you do is always top notch. Thanks again for everything you do. one of your biggest fans....skee

To clarify - I am looking for the metacreation update to their Dance Studio program (which I own). It allows the program to run on XP. The program is no longer sold or supported. What makes this program unique, is you can create dance moves and export them as BVH files. Load them into poser and cha-cha-cha! Mark

AlleycatLA, you can run DS on windows XP without the patch. It just will not export BVH files. Just go to the program icon and right click , then properies, then tell it to run the program in windows 98 compatibility. When you frist load the program it says it want load but it does. skee
