Can the trees in bryce be exported as standard 3d objects?

Unfortunately No. Only lattices, terrains, and previously imported meshes can be exported from Bryce.

OK thank you, I thought that I had read somewhere that trees could be exported, too.

they can be exported, but only as obp's,
